INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARDS

The most effective way to deepen curricular relationships and increase brand recognition with a college or university is to join an industry advisory board. All K-16 Collaborative community colleges and universities host field-specific advisory boards, which convene one to four times a year. These boards share a common mission: to advance educational programs and align them with industry needs.

HOW IT WORKS

The K-16 Collaborative offers comprehensive support for placing your employees on advisory boards across the SF Bay region. Our staff will work closely with you to assess your company's interest and capacity for participating on these boards, identifying suitable colleges and academic/career fields.

We will then match your employees' interests and expertise with the appropriate deans in our deep network of K-16 Collaborative colleges and universities, facilitating warm introductions for each participant. Additionally, we will collaborate with you and your employees to track the effectiveness of these placements and build on the opportunities that arise from this partnership.
