Dr. Lattimer has been Dean of the Lurie College of Education at SJSU since 2018.  During her tenure at SJSU, the Lurie College of Education has significantly grown student enrollments, increased the diversity of our students and faculty, built deep community partnerships with local school districts, community colleges, and community organizations, and secured more than $20M in grants and philanthropic donations to support our strategic priorities. 

Prior to coming to SJSU, Dr. Lattimer was a faculty member at the University of San Diego and Executive Director of the Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education.  Dr. Lattimer holds earned degrees from Harvard, Stanford, and UCSD.  She began her career as a K12 teacher in San Jose Unified.
