Ms. Mia Segura is the Administrative Lead for the San Francisco/Peninsula region of the Bay Area K-16 Collaborative at San Francisco State University. Since joining San Francisco State University in 2012, she has played a pivotal role in supporting various grant-funded initiatives across the campus. Ms. Segura is deeply committed to creating and expanding life-changing educational opportunities for students in underserved communities.

In her current role, Ms. Segura provides programmatic facilitation, administrative support, and fiscal oversight for the SF/P region. Before joining the Collaborative, she worked on initiatives aimed at increasing the pipeline of students with professional-level Chinese language proficiency and developing a K-16 pipeline for students in the SFUSD Mandarin Immersion track. Ms. Segura holds a B.A. in International Relations and Chinese from Tufts University.
