Dr. Williams is Dean of the College of Education and Allied Studies at California State University, East Bay, in Hayward, CA. He is the East Bay Subregional Co-PI on the K-16 Collaborative Regional grant, and PI for two residency grants. Dr. Williams completed his bachelor’s degree at Howard University and his doctorate at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Having studied under the top family therapy researchers in the nation, he led the Marriage and Family program at San Francisco State University for eight years and he led the Department of Counseling as chair for six years. Prior to joining Cal State East Bay, Dr. Williams served as the associate dean in the Graduate College of Education at San Francisco State University.
