Yvette Flores is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Educational Partnerships at UC Berkeley. In this role, she leads 10 college access and academic preparation programs within the Center for Educational Partnerships (CEP), which serves over 100,000 students and their families each year. Yvette also serves as UC Office of the President’s designated Campus Chief Outreach Officer for UC Berkeley and serves on the UC Systemwide P-20 Council and the Puente Project Advisory Board and is Board Chair of the East Bay Solano County Education Consortium. Yvette also leads several external partnerships, including the K-16 Bay Area Regional Collaborative.
Originally from San Francisco, Yvette is a first-generation college graduate and a proud UC Berkeley alumna. She also graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, receiving her Master's degree in Education Policy and Management. Yvette is deeply passionate about educational equity and increasing opportunities for students. She has served communities in the South Bronx, New York, and the Bay Area throughout her career.
Over the last 18 years, she has worked in the field of college access and higher education, successfully supporting school sites, community college partners, and community-based organizations to create meaningful partnerships and design systems to support students and families.
